A Plus Transmission Specialists

I found this place through a Google search and stopped by to check it out. I was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. When I came in for my vehicle service, I was able to work comfortably while waiting for my car. I also had the opportunity to chat with Brent and Javier, who were both friendly and professional. They made me feel completely comfortable, and at no point did I feel pressured into purchasing services I didn't need. Although A Plus Transmission is not close to my home, the quality of service and honest customer care make it well worth the drive. I have found my new go-to place for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

My son lives in Lubbock and started having issues with his car. He took it to a shop there and was told his transmission was blown and it would be $8,000 to fix. As a mom, that was extremely stressful. We got the car to Austin and ended up working with A+ Transmission Specialist, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. Dan, the owner, was amazing from the start. He took the time to talk through everything, answer questions, and made us feel supported instead of rushed or pressured. Brett was just as incredible. He thoroughly checked the car and walked us through everything in a way that actually made sense. He listened to my son and you can tell they genuinely care and take pride in being honest. What we were originally told was completely wrong, and they helped us get to the real issue without taking advantage of the situation. The entire process, we felt supported, and that meant everything in such a stressful time. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family

You can’t find another transmission shop better. A+ transmission by far is the best I have dealt with. Dealing with a fleet of trucks in my business I have experienced other transmission shops and have paid a lot of money to replace transmissions. A+ transmission South Austin, is honest and upfront about your vehicle and the prices are very reasonable, they stand behind their work. The technicians are very knowledgeable about transmissions. I would not bring my vehicle to any other place.

These guys have been my first good experience with an auto shop EVER. I called late Saturday afternoon in a panic over my car smelling like it was about to catch on fire, and Brent was so kind and reassuring (and funny!) from the start. Jacob did an amazing job on my new clutch and flywheel, and he was super fast- I signed the work order at 8am and the car was ready by the end of the day. My car shifts better than it did when I bought it! They were upfront and concise and friendly, just good vibes all around. Thank you so much Brent and Jacob! :)

Took my F150 in because the transmission was slipping, it was only a couple sensors and they repaired with 48 hours! No regrets! They diagnosed it properly because I already knew what was wrong, didn’t get a big sale job on something unnecessary… Good people I will go back and I will recommend my friends to go there!! Thanks Brett!
